Notice of Filing for the 2016 State General
Notice is hereby given that a general election
will be held in Redwood County on Tuesday,
November 8, 2016 for the purpose of electing
candidates for the offices listed below.
The filing period begins at 8:00 a.m.,
Tuesday, May 17, 2016, and ends at 5:00 p.m.,
Tuesday, May 31, 2016.
Note: Filing offices will be closed on
Monday, May 30, 2016, in observance of Memorial

PROPERTY TAX NOTICE
The second half property taxes are due and
payable October 17, 2016.
All payments sent in by mail
must be POSTMARKED and all payments made on line
must be DATED no later than October 17, 2016, to
be accepted without penalty.
Penalty will be imposed on
late payments per schedule on back of tax
However, if your property is
classified as agricultural, you may pay as late
as November 15, 2016, without a penalty.
Please send the second half
stub or both stubs if also paying the first half
Payments sent in by mail must
be POSTMARKED no later than October 17 2016.
Payments made on line must be DATED no later
than October 17, 2016.

(Electronic Certificate of Real Estate Value)
Beginning Oct. 1, 2014, all
certificates of real estate value must be submitted
using eCRV. County and city offices will no
longer accept paper copies of the Certificates of
Real Estate Value, except for sales that have
occurred before Oct. 1, 2014.
A Certificate of Real Estate
Value (CRV) is required to document a sale of
property in Minnesota. CRV information is reviewed
by the county of sale and the Department of Revenue
to verify sale terms and ensure fair and equitable
property tax assessments statewide. eCRV may be used
for ALL counties of sale.
